"I want to highlight a phenomenal employee who served as a stellar representation of HopeHealth. Prior to my grandmother’s recent passing, HopeHealth Hospice & Palliative Care provided her with hospice care at home. This is where we met Sandra, HopeHealth’s admissions nurse.
Sandra shared with us that she was there to help with the administrative process and that, after her initial visit, we would be assigned a team of doctors, nurses, aides and others who would continue to care for my grandmother. But she did far more than assist with paperwork.
She immediately jumped into action, easing my grandmother’s pain and making things easier for my family. She explained everything clearly and precisely, keeping us well informed. As a naval officer, I've worked with leaders who excel in times of crisis. Sandra is exactly this type of leader – an extremely competent nurse, a fantastic caregiver and a top-notch human being.
